Closing Remarks

These were my closing remarks to the audience at the Canadian Federation of University Women of Brantford’s All Candidates Meeting, held on Tuesday, 15 October 2019. I think they serve nicely as closing remarks to the entire campaign.

Today is Election Day in Canada — Look at the candidates in your riding, check their policies, then choose the candidate who will best represent you, who will not have their votes whipped in Parliament, who will work with others to implement electoral reform (and not just promise to), who will work with others to enact the resolution of the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples now (not ten years from now), and whose party has a strong, science-based climate action plan.
